Before & After the Turkey Coup

Until the Arab Spring, Erdogan was a remarkably democratic leader. But after the Arab Spring began in 2011, he started to accuse Europe, America, and Israel for their involvement in the Muslim world. He appealed to the unhappy crowds in the Arab streets and started to behave as an unelected leader of the Muslim world—he was almost an undeclared caliph. Turkey’s axis started to move away from the West and towards Middle Eastern dictatorships. ( retrieved July 17, 2016)

Since 2011, Erdogan has been departing the West. Whereas once he was in alliance with the democracy of the West (i.e. USA/UN/NATO/EU/UfM), he is now lauded by Muslim Arabs for his resistance toward the West. Yet, the West continued to court Turkey with promises of EU visas, migration deals, etc. in order to keep an ally status with the crucial land that hinges West to East on the Mediterranean. Erdogan had been fairly reciprocal to the West’s flatteries. While said deals and promises of stability and protection were on the table, Erdogan was content to remain a UN/USA/EU/UfM/NATO constituent [serving as a proxy aid to ISIL/ISIS in Iraq and being at odds with Russia and Iran]; (see also WSJ on Turkey’s pro-ISIS/ISIL military ops in Iraq).

As of last week and only days after the EU showed dramatic signs and discussions of collapse and restructure (e.g. Brexit, etc.), Erdogan’s diplomatic stances began to openly change. Though Erdogan courted the West for at time, within recent weeks he realized doing so was dividing and weakening his country. Maybe Erdogan has succumbed to the accusations by Putin that he has been playing the part of accomplice to terrorists. Whatever the case, Erdogan has decided to go full-out “Eastern alliance,” reflecting Turkey’s historical political and religious orientation. Turkey has been predominantly an Islamic entity—at least since about 700s AD. Its historical roots are too far entrenched in Caliphate to be otherwise. Though Erdogan speaks of democracy, even in the face of the attempted coup; “democracy” means something far different to Erdogan and Islam than it does to the West. Autocracy would be the better word. Pure western democracy cannot possibly coincide with an Islamic society. The coup was an attempt by those loyal to the West to stop Erdogan’s Western departure toward Eastern alliance.

Events which Precipitated the Turkey Coup

Turkey’s Erdogan vows unity after deadly airport blasts | Al Jazeera,  June 29, 2016 Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has vowed that his country “will never be divided”…”There is an attempt to turn our security forces into guilty parties, but they will not succeed in their efforts because this nation knows full well who is who,” Erdogan said on Wednesday. “We will never forget our martyrs.” [underline mine for emphasis]

Events Resulting from the Turkey Coup

As the above quote from Haaretz indicates, “Turkey’s simultaneous reconciliation agreements with Russia and Israel provide a rare chance to design a new Middle Eastern policy.” That left Turkey politically stuck between ISIS/ISIL (in Iraq) and Iran. Such tension can only lead to the fulfillment of Daniel 8’s Goat v. Ram battle. For now, Russia, Iran and Turkey will effectively back Syria, keeping Assad in power and out of the EU/UfM.

Before the Turkey Coup, Israel had effectively agreed to pursue design of Middle East peace by making an alliance with Turkey, now the ally of Russia and Iran/Hezbollah and Hamas [by proxy: Palestinian State]. Through this action with the (then) “Western-accepted” Turkey, Israel smartly left (in part) her Western alliances—USA/UN/EU/UfM—without overtly snubbing them or breaking policies. Yet, there is growing tension between Jews and Turks and between Turkey and the USA/NATO; the latter having to do with US-sheltered and suspected coup leader, Fethullah Gulen. These tensions will not dissipate, and Israel’s jockeying for designer peace through Turkey with the Arab world was just as irrational and unrealistic as the USA/P5+ approval of the Iran nuclear deal. Such stupidity can only be justified if the newly-formed Israeli alliance with Turkey was a ruse to signal Israel’s military attaché to begin the coup attempt [motivated by desire to block Erdogan’s drift away from the West and the resultant gateway gained by Russia].

Despite what Israel’s aims and covert connections to the military coup may have been, she  more than likely will be provoked by Syrian-based Russian proxies (ex. Iran or Iranian-backed Hezbollah) from just beyond on the Syrian border or just within the Israeli border. Israel would probably drop a bomb (or bombs) on Russia’s military bases or proxy forces operating in Syria: e.g. Iran, Hezbollah & Turkey. That bombing will happen in Damascus and perhaps northern Israel if not Iran also.

The Anti-Christ will have been revealed and take the credit and broker a false peace and the expansion of Israeli territory—via the overt formation of a fully revived and revised Roman Empire (including Western and Eastern factions)—that lasts only 3.5 years before another 3.5 years of persecution begins in Israel. [The Anti-Christ will also take credit for the disappearance of essentialist Christians circa his world-wide debut, due to the Great Deception / Delusion].

Little Horn on the Rise

Turkey’s abdication from NATO is no surprise to the UN’s EU/UfM. The covert form of the Anti-Christ global empire is already in the works and since the time is near, it is ramping up by way of a new Global Strategy of the UN’s EU/UfM supranational governance. Lybia and Syria were 2 of 3 of the prophetic horns (see Daniel 7) removed from the Revived Roman Empire before Anti-Christ kingdom could arise. Turkey is the 3rd, and according to prophecy, Lybia, Syria and Turkey will all be involved in the Gog and Magog War against Israel; but Egypt and the other EU/UfM nations will not.

During that war, the USA does not appear in Bible prophecy [Destroyed? or just part of the Revived Roman Empire?]… and the rest of the “Young Lions / Merchant Nations of Tarshish” (PIIGGS Nations and their offshoots) will spiral into decline before merging into the Anti-Christ empire. Jordan will topple, and a new state will be created from its fallout, melded together with Iraq. The new Babil (Babylon) will be the new world center of banking and commerce, ultimately destroyed during the last half of the Great Tribulation (Revelation 17, 18) by the destructive wrath of the Lamb of God—Yeshua ha’Mashiach / Jesus, the Messiah.

“Flee from the wrath to come” by repenting of this evil generation and of sin. Place trust in the Messiah, the only Son of God, Yeshua of Nazaret.
